I think we can see some of the dangers of Americanization playing out in America today. When someone elevates the their country so much in one’s mind, they are often unable to see the truth of their government’s actions. While patriotism is good, we must be loyal to the principles laid down by our founders, even if that means going against the current governmental decisions. It is easy to turn a blind eye to the American Government’s fault because it is “so much better than other countries”.”
