Fresh Veggies!

Wow, I haven't been on my blog in a while. I'm going to try and start posting again, but no promises. I am super busy this time of year. Anyways, today I wanted to tell you all about a local opportunity.

I will be hosting a drop spot for Sand Creek Farm's CSA vegetable boxes.

A CSA vegetable box is one tub of assorted, delicious, organic veggies that you receive weekly from the Farm and can pick up at my house in Stone Oak in Round Rock. Their produce is grown both in their organic fields and aquaponics facilities."We use no pesticides or herbicides and our food can certainly be classified as Organic, although we have not paid for organic labeling." This is a family owned business that I am proud to support.

The CSA boxes will be delivered in 8-10 week seasons. We will be entering the second season of 8 weeks, with our first distribution on April 6th! You must sign up and put in any orders the Sunday before pick up.

CSA Shares are weekly boxes of 6-7 different kinds of vegetables for $22 (includes driving and delivery fee). You will pay for the 8 weeks at once totaling $176. If you need to skip a week you can put yourself on hold and that money will roll forward to another season or can be spent in the online store. You can also order extra items from the online store.

Our veggies will be delivered on Wednesdays and pickup will be after 12.

Please let me know if you are interested! TODAY is the deadline to sign up for this season of vegetables and get your veggies this Wednesday.

Please feel free to forward or share this with anyone you think might be interested. And if you do end up signing up, please tell me.

Thanks!
