Blog Questions for Fun!

I was reading Mikayla Holman's blog Bubblegum Ballerina and came across these questions. I thought it would be fun to answer them and add a few of my own.

1: How Long Have You Been Blogging:
I have only been blogging a couple of months but I enjoy it immensely!

2: Why Did You Choose Your Blog Title:
Because oftentimes people associate rain with gloominess. My father and others have worked hard to make my and my family's life full of rain. What I have learned from this is life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, because as long as we are on this sin filled earth filled with fallen men there will always be someone out to hurt you or something going wrong or even just not the way it was planned. Life if full of gloom without the Life Giver and Almighty King Jesus Christ. Instead of moaning about we can dance in the Magnificence of His reign.
It is only human to get depressed over this worlds state of affairs and sometimes you still have to cry about things, but then you can lean on Christ and he lead you and teach you how to dance in the rain and give glory to His sovereign reign.

4: Do You Play An Instrument? If So, What:
I have not played anything recently but we just got our Harp (which we were renting out) and I am re-learning how to play it!

5: What's your favorite blog?
To tell you the truth I do not really follow any blogs... My friend at thebubblegumballerina.blogspot came up with these questions to use on blogs! Another blog I am a part of is futurehomeschoolauthors.blogspot. Also I have a friend who is just starting up a blog called Cool Stuff Made Smart and Easy at awesomeincorporated4me.blogspot.

Also being on the GAPS diet I found the Grain-Free Foodies and LifeFoodJourney extremely helpful!

Please comment below if you have a blog that touches on any of the things I post about and you think I would be interested!

6: What Are Your Hobbies:
Planning:
Planning is literally one of my favorite things to do! I love to make elaborate plans, schedules, school plans, party plans, life plans, floor plans... etc. even if I don't use them it is just fun for me. (Although I do usually try to plan things I am actually going to do.)
Writing:
Obviously am a writer since I have this blog... I mostly enjoy writing on things I am passionate about. (sorry if I have offended anyone I am "slightly"" opinionated. " I like to write stories, but I haven't got any books done yet. Some kids have a hard time getting their papers and such to get to the minimum word limit. The first time I had a word limit I was seriously distraught! I did not know how I could possibly fit everything I wanted to say into the amount of words I was supposed to say it in. UG. My Challenge A tutor's critiques of my papers sounded something like this "Lisbeth... being concise is a skill too..."
Teaching:
I really like teaching. It is so fun to help people understand what you understand and to teach them the skills you have. I am currently meeting up with a group of friends and each of us is leading a subject. I am doing Vision Forum Law and Government. We take turns doing Latin games and the rest of the kids teach Economics, Physical Science Experiments, American Sign Language and Spanish. It is pretty fun and really neat to see everyone growing in their teaching and presenting abilities.
Cooking:
When I was little I used to help my mom in the kitchen. When I got a little older my mom wisely assigned me and my sister meals we had to prepare. I'm sure she had to eat some pretty... interesting...meals. :) But she was smart and after much recipe following, not recipe following, experimentation and such me and Hope can whip out a meal for the family fairly quickly. And I am the QUEEN OF LEFTOVERS. I do not like to let things go bad.
Once I made this delicious soup. It was really yummy but I made A LOT and did not think to can or freeze some of it.... after eating the same soup for about a week...well...lets just say when we saw that kind of soup "really yummy" wasn't the first thing that came into our minds! :) Oh well. You learn as you go. I love to bake and I was the baker of the house until I realized I was reacting to wheat and had to go gluten free. That was depressing! I had to learn a whole new life. A life without cinnamon rolls and bread... My life is definitely a food journey! I am on a mission to find my allergies and cure them and learn to make delicious food without them.
Reading
Not much to say here. But I love to read and the Lamplighter books are the best books ever! They are Christ centered and historical and teach character in a gripping story sort of way.
Swimming:
I have always been around water. I love to swim and play in the water. I could live in our pool!

7: Write One Word, Any Word.
Salvation

8: What's Your Favorite Book:
The Bible

9: How Many Books Do You Own:
Ummm... I am not going to attempt to count the number of books we own!

10: What Is Your Favorite Movie:
My favorite movies are the Borne series.

11. If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go:
Belize

12. What are some of your ultimate dreams and/or life goals:
